1. Kowalkiewicz is not a household name but she’s joining the ranks of female prospects (ala Shevchenko) that shouldn’t be underestimated.
Karolina is coming off a pretty big win over Randa Markos, much to the shock of many who believe Markos was and is a solid talent. She’s too old to be considered a prospect, but as is the case with any division still in its infancy, older fighters with relative inexperience can be some of the most dangerous fighters because they tend to be more mature while retaining a youthful exuberance for the sport. Kowalkiewicz definitely qualifies for such status. Kind of like Clark.
