Would Eagles QB Bradford consider retiring?

Did you wake up on Friday hoping for a new wrinkle to the ridiculous saga involving Sam Bradford and the Eagles? Well, you’re in luck. Because we’ve got one.
And it involves the ultimate nuclear button for Bradford: retirement.
No, really! Reuben Frank of CSN Philly went on television Thursday night and proclaimed he thinks Bradford is “gonna retire” from football over the Eagles drafting Carson Wentz.
“I think he’s gonna retire, honestly. The guy’s made what, what did we say, $95-$100 million? I think he’s gonna retire. I think he’s had enough. I don’t think he wants to be here,” Frank said.
“Honestly, I don’t think anybody else wants him. Maybe get a three for him, I doubt it. I think it’s done, I think it’s over with. I think Chase Daniel starts your season, plays five or six games, whatever Doug Pederson played, I think he played seven. And then Carson Wentz comes in and he’s your quarterback for the next 10 years and this time next year we’re sitting here saying, ‘Sam who?’”
Retiring would be a bold play for a guy who just signed a two-year, $36 million contract with $22 million guaranteed.
