Jazz extend Quin Snyder with multiyear deal

In his first year as the head coach of the Utah Jazz, Quin Snyder guided the team to a 13-game improvement. In his second season, the Jazz became a 40-win team that was right on the precipice of making the postseason.
With such marked improvement and Utah morphing into one of the better defensive teams in the league, the Jazz announced on Friday they have extended Snyder’s contract.

The Utah Jazz announced today a long-term contract extension for third-year head coach Quin Snyder. Per team policy, financial terms were not released.
