Forestieri wins PFA Fans’ award

Sheffield Wednesday forward Fernando Forestieri has been named the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for April in the Sky Bet Championship.
Forestieri wins back-to-back awards after scoring twice and picking up an assist as Sheffield Wednesday secured the final play-off spot in the Championship.
The 26-year-old, who has now won the award three times, secured a massive 69.5 per cent of the vote to beat Leeds striker Chris Wood (15.5 per cent) and Rotherham defender Greg Halford (14.8 per cent) to the Championship award.
