HPO Columbus Regional Main Event Kicks Off Friday in Ohio

The Hollywood Poker Open continues on Friday in Columbus, Ohio, with the $1,115 Regional Main Event. It’s the 14th event on the schedule and the biggest one of the bunch, complete with a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool, two starting flights, and the appearance of Chris Moneymaker.
Last year’s HPO Columbus Regional Main Event attracted 294 entries and was won by Daniel Swartz for $70,560. Finishing in second place was Nick Pupillo, and he bagged $43,512.
The Regional Main Event is scheduled to get the cards in the air at 11:15 a.m. local time and the PokerNews Live Reporting team will be on hand for coverage from the opening shuffle to the final river card. To follow along with the event, click here.
