Gausman dominant in no-decision

BALTIMORE — Right-hander Kevin Gausman may have ended up with a no-decision on Thursday night, but there was no debating that he gave the Orioles their best start of the season.
Gausman tied a career high with eight dominant innings, holding the Yankees to just three hits in the Orioles’ 1-0 walk-off win in 10 innings.
“He was something, wasn’t he?” manager Buck Showalter said. “He was solid. I think the most innings he had [thrown] this year was six. It was tough taking him out of the game. We thought about taking him out after the seventh, but his pitch count was low. He didn’t seem to be struggling, obviously.”
