MLB decision on Puerto Rico series nears

CHICAGO — A decision on a two-game series scheduled for May 30-31 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to celebrate Roberto Clemente Day will be made soon by Major League Baseball, Commissioner Rob Manfred said on Thursday at U.S. Cellular Field.
“I do expect we will have an announcement either tomorrow or, at the very latest, on Monday,” Manfred said on Thursday about the scheduled May matchup between the Marlins and Pirates.
