Sundowns put title celebrations on hold for Medeama test

South Africa league champions-elect Mamelodi Sundowns are in high spirits ahead of Saturday’s 2nd 1/8th round first leg clash against Ghanaian campaigners, Medeama in Pretoria.
The ‘Brazilians’ wrapped up the league crown on Wednesday, 4 May 2016 after a 3-0 win over neighbours, University of Pretoria to go eight points clear with two matches remaining.
Sundowns’ campaign in the premier continental club was cut short at the 1/8th round by DR Congo side, AS Vita who edged them via away goals after a 2-2 tie.
