Former Miami Hurricanes wide receiver and 10-year NFL veteran Brett Perriman has reportedly been hospitalized and placed on life support after collapsing Tuesday evening, according to Andy Slater of SlaterScoops.com.

Citing a family member at the hospital, Slater reported Perriman “had extremely high blood pressure.” On Wednesday, Slater cited a family member who said there had been “some small signs of progress overnight.”
