Real Madrid are the favourites to lift the 2016 UEFA Champions League trophy after they confirmed their spot in the final on Saturday, May 28 at the San Siro Stadium in Milan.   

Los Blancos defeated Manchester City 1-0 on Wednesday night at the Bernabeu Stadium to advance with a solitary goal to their name and will meet neighbours Atletico Madrid in a repeat of the 2013-14 final.

When Atletico reached the final of the Champions League two seasons ago, they were fresh off their success in La Liga, splitting Spain’s superpowers to capture the Primera Division.
