Irvin compares Jaylon Smith to Luke Kuechly

Michael Irvin loves the Cowboys. This is no surprise since he won three Super Bowls during his 12-year career in Dallas. You know what else Michael Irvin loves? Jaylon Smith, the Cowboys’ second-round pick in last week’s draft.
Even by Irvin’s typically over-the-top standards, he couldn’t gush enough about Smith, who will likely miss the 2016 season after suffering an injury in a January bowl game.
“I’m telling y’all right, I’m telling y’all right now, and I need all the people talking about this Jaylon Smith kid — I’m gonna tell y’all right … now,” Irvin told G-Bag Nation on KRLD-FM 105.3, a CBS Sports Radio affiliate. “I kept his [draft] card; I got the card right here next to me. … I’ma hold on to this card, and when I see this kid in Canton, Ohio, I’m going to have him sign it for me.
