Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan passed Vince Carter to become the franchise’s all-time leading playoff scorer during Tuesday’s 102-96 overtime loss to the Miami Heat in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, per Sportsnet Stats.
Despite reaching the milestone, DeRozan didn’t have a particularly efficient outing, making just nine of his 22 field-goal attempts and four of his six free throws to finish with 22 points, six rebounds, four assists, a steal and two turnovers in 42 minutes.
