Fernandinho ready to make history

Fernandinho believes lessons learned from past failures will help Manchester City overcome Real Madrid and reach a historic Champions League final.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side face a daunting task against ten-times winners, Real, who are boosted by the return of Cristiano Ronaldo, at the Bernabeu in the second leg of their semi-final.
City battled to a goalless draw in the first leg at the Etihad Stadium and are just 90 minutes away from a first Champions League final in the club’s history.
A final date with Atletico Madrid in Milan’s San Siro Stadium on May 28 is the reward for the victors on Wednesday and Fernandinho admits that would be a dream come true for City’s players.
“I’m sure this is a title that would leave its mark in the life of every player and every Manchester City fan,” said Fernandinho.
