Rodriguez, Kelly make progress in rehab

CHICAGO — Red Sox starting pitchers Eduardo Rodriguez and Joe Kelly both made significant steps on Tuesday in their quest to get back on the active roster.
Rodriguez made the second start in his rehab assignment on Tuesday night and gave up five hits and three runs over six innings for Triple-A Pawtucket in a game played at Lehigh Valley. The lefty threw 84 pitches while walking none and striking out three.
Rodriguez suffered a subluxation of his right knee on Feb. 27 and started the season on the disabled list. He …
