Tournament winners or 1st round losers: who is the strongest player?

A strong tennis player to some is the one who has the endurance to win round after round, get to the finals and put the tournament away. The strong player has the physical endurance and the mental toughness to pace themselves throughout the match, even if they lose a set and then win. The draw may have 6 players, they have to win over and they might have difficulty winning in straight sets, but they win match after match and then the tournament. A lesser ranked player would be expected to lose from the first to 3rd round, then pack up and continue on to the next venue. Who would be considered the strongest? The physically or mentally strongest? It would seem like the less ranked because they didn”t have to go rounds after rounds trying to win over players. They came, played 1 or 2 rounds got their money and off to another tournament. They have their energy, did less time on the court, less hours in the sun and less swings, serves, impact on the body strength to use.
