Don Shula Hospitalized: Updates on Former Coach’s Status and Recovery

Hall of Fame Miami Dolphins head coach Don Shula was hospitalized because of sleep apnea and fluid retention.
Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported the news Tuesday, which came via the coach’s wife, Mary Anne Shula. She did provide an encouraging update in a statement to ESPN.com’s James Walker:
