Agent: Multiple teams had interest in Peyton

When Peyton Manning retired in March, a month after winning the Super Bowl, he seemed at peace with the decision. Part of that no doubt came from a fulfilling, storied career that will land him in the Hall of Fame. But part of that was also the reality that his mental prowess could no longer compensate for his ever-diminishing physical skills.
But things, as they say, are not always what they seem. At least to hear Tom Condon, Manning’s agent during his NFL career. Appearing on The Business of Sports with Andrew Brandt (via PFT), Condon said that Manning told him, “I really like to play.” And more than that, there were teams interested in having Manning play for them.
