‘Ronaldo, Bale set for Real stay’

Sky Sports’ Spanish football expert Guillem Balague insists Gareth Bale will sign a new Real Madrid contract when the future of Cristiano Ronaldo is resolved.
The Welsh winger has been in scintillating form this season, scoring 19 goals in 20 starts as Real Madrid push for the La Liga title and Champions League glory.
The 26-year-old’s form has meant Madrid are keen to sign him up on a new long-term deal and negotiations are due to start soon between the club and the player’s representatives.
Bale grew frustrated last season with his role in the team, but Ronaldo is determined to keep his own starring role.
Balague believes if a buyer can be found, the Portugal star will leave and this will allow Bale to take centre stage.
