Everton are reportedly considering Newcastle United boss Rafael Benitez as a potential candidate to replace Roberto Martinez at Goodison Park.

According to Craig Hope of the Daily Mail, the Toffees “could move for Benitez if Newcastle lose their relegation battle.”
Martinez is under massive pressure on Merseyside after a poor season for Everton, and it’s noted by Hope the club “are now almost certain to change manager this summer.”
Benitez would be a fascinating appointment, considering his past as a manager.
