A few notes from around the boxing world:
• Cable network AWE announced that it has picked up American coverage of the heavyweight title eliminator between former title challengers Kubrat Pulev (22-1, 12 KOs), of Bulgaria, and England’s Dereck Chisora (25-5, 17 KOs), who meet Saturday in Hamburg, Germany. AWE will pair coverage of the fight with that of lightweight titleholder Anthony Crolla’s defense against interim titlist Ismael Barroso from Manchester, England. The broadcast begins at 2:30 p.m. ET.
