Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki has a player option for the 2016-17 season, and should he void the final year of his current deal, his future likely remains with his current team.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram’s Dwain Price reported Monday that Nowitzki could sign a two-year deal with the Mavs, with the option to become a free agent after the first year of the deal.
