Manchester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho has opened up on how losing to Southampton affected the team’s morale.
With a Champions League semi-final second leg on Wednesday, a 4-2 defeat on the domestic stage was not the best preparation for facing a team like Real Madrid.
The 19-year-old, a rare positive on a largely miserable afternoon for City, said: “This was not good preparation, this game didn’t give us enough confidence but we’ll put it behind us and focus on the next game.
