Josh Thomson injured, out of Bellator 154 co-main event vs. Michael Chandler

Bellator MMA is in search of a new opponent for ex-lightweight champion Michael Chandler, as FloCombat reports that Josh Thomson is injured and out of the Bellator 154 co-main event on May 14th. There’s no word yet on what injury Thomson suffered, and Bellator hasn’t released any official statements on Thomson’s status.
Thomson (22-8, 1 NC) is 2-0 since signing with Bellator in free agency, recording stoppage wins over Mike Bronzoulis and Pablo Villaseca. Both of those fights were in his hometown of San Jose, CA, which is also where Bellator 154 will be held.
