Miami Heat star guard Dwyane Wade needed only 12 points during Miami’s 106-73 Game 7 victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday, but they were historic.
On a free throw with six minutes, nine seconds remaining in the second quarter, Wade surpassed Wilt Chamberlain for 17th place all-time in playoff points, per ESPN on Twitter. The three-time NBA champion and former Finals MVP is now up to 3,614 postseason points.
