James Vick: If these guys were still contenders, they wouldn’t be moving up a weight class

With tons of focus on the drastic weight cutting that goes on inside the sport, especially with the new rules in place for California, there’s a good chance we may see some weight class changes on the horizon. For those that manage their cuts effectively, things will go on business as usual. One of the largest lightweights (if not the largest) in the UFC, James Vick, feels that 155 will be his fighting weight for a long time to come.
In a recent interview with the Three Amigos Podcast, the “Texecutioner” discussed why he doesn’t look at the welterweight division as a future home for his talents. Here’s what he had to say:
