USMNT Watch: Jordan Morris Extends Scoring Streak for Seattle Sounders
- Updated: May 1, 2016
It was only a matter of time before Jordan Morris started striking the back of the net on a consistent basis for the Seattle Sounders.
The Stanford University product netted his third tally in three matches for the Sounders on Saturday. The 21-year-old is heating up at the right time with the Copa America Centenario just a month away.
A few other United States men’s national team players scored in Major League Soccer on Saturday, while a young netminder over in Europe made his case for a Copa roster spot.

Jordan Morris Heating Up at Perfect Time
Morris handed the Sounders three points late on Saturday in their contest with the Columbus Crew at CenturyLink Field.
The young forward pounced on a rebound to hand Sigi Schmid’s side a valuable victory against the 2015 MLS Cup participants.

Sacha Kljestan produced his second straight impressive showing in the final third for the New York Red Bulls on Friday night. The midfielder recorded a goal and an assist in his side’s 4-0 win over FC Dallas.
Juan Agudelo, who is still trying to find consistent form in MLS, scored for the New England Revolution in their 2-2 draw with Orlando City at Gillette Stadium.
