Ovince Saint Preux: I risked ‘losing an arm’ against Jon Jones at UFC 197

UFC 197’s main event between Jon Jones and Ovince Saint Preux was a dull championship affair. Jones, who was stripped of the light heavyweight title due to legal troubles last year, was notably tentative during the bout. OSP, who took a chance to seize the interim belt on three weeks’ notice, also looked gunshy throughout the five rounds.
Jones cruised to a unanimous decision win, claiming the interim belt and setting up a title unification bout with rival Daniel Cormier at UFC 200. For OSP, it’s back to the drawing board. And, although most of the spotlight has been on Bones’ return, Saint Preux wants fans to know that he put everything on the line at UFC 197.
