Pierce might retire after his worst NBA season

Paul Pierce envisioned winning another championship when he signed with the Los Angeles Clippers last summer. After all, he joined up with All-Stars in Blake Griffin and Chris Paul, and rebounding and shot-blocking monster DeAndre Jordan. Pierce picked the Clippers for their stars, the chance to play for his former Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers and to finish his career in his hometown of Los Angeles.
Yet things didn’t go the way Pierce planned as Griffin and Paul got injured in the first round and the the Clippers lost in six games to the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday. After such an unexpected end, Pierce was undecided after the game if he would retire or return for a 19th season.
