MMA vet Franklin: UFC – McGregor situation is like ‘disciplining a child’

The UFC’s decision to pull Conor McGregor from UFC 200 is a move that has stunned the MMA world. Some fighters side with the Irishman while others believe the promotion were justified in their actions.
Veteran fighter turned ONE FC promoter, Rich Franklin, can see both sides of the argument and believes that social media can provide a new platform for athletes to market themselves.
The former UFC middleweight champion recently spoke to Brett Okamoto of ESPN and said that the situation between ‘The Notorious’ and the UFC is similar to that of a parent disciplining a child.
