- Updated: April 30, 2016
Diet and nutrition are vital parts of an athlete’s training, and in a sport like MMA, where weight cuts make all the difference, it pays to be well informed. The buck doesn’t stop there, though. People from all walks of life are trying to dial in a more health conscious attitude, perhaps now, more than ever. With scientific studies and data coming in from all angles, thanks to the digital age, there’s a metric ton of information that needs to be sorted through, which presents a daunting challenge for many.
The Three Amigos Podcast hopes to remove the guesswork from that data sifting via our excellent weekly segment, The Weight List, featuring weight cutting and nutrition specialist, George Lockhart and our own Iain Kidd, has been a show staple for the past year, and has covered many topics in a condensed, easy listening, 15-minute weekly episode. This week, Iain and George brought Fitness VT partner, Daniel Leith into the fold for the first full-length installment of the Weight List.
Here are a few quotes from the 80 minute feature, along with some bullet point topics with minute markers for your convenience. As always, we hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed recording.
