Seminoles kicker Aguayo in rare air as Bucs’ pick

TAMPA, Fla. — In one of the largest surprises of the NFL draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers traded up into the second round and selected Florida State kicker Roberto Aguayo at No. 59 overall Friday.
The Bucs sent their third-round pick (No. 74) and one of their two fourth-round selections (No. 106) to the Kansas City Chiefs for the chance to take the Lou Groza Award winner.
Aguayo is the highest drafted kicker since 2005, when the New York Jets took Mike Nugent at No. 47 overall.
