Remember when the draft was held in New York City and Jets fans would blindly and mercilessly boo the poor soul selected by hometown team? The draft may have moved to Chicago, but thanks to the wonders of social media, Jets fans around the world can still whine and moan about the team’s decision to use a second-round pick on former Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg, who can kindly be described as polarizing.
Compounding matters: Ryan Fitzpatrick remains unsigned — and worse, he reportedly would rather not play at all than sign a deal that would pay him “just” $8 million a year — and the other quarterback on the roster is a former second-rounder, Geno Smith.
So yeah, FEEL THE MEDIOCRITY!
