Vikes take CB Alexander

With the No. 54 pick in the 2016 NFL draft, the Minnesota Vikings select Clemson cornerback Mackensie Alexander.
Pete Prisco gave the Vikings a B+ grade for the pick:

Alexander isn’t big — he’s 5-foot-10, 190 pounds — but he is fast (4.49 in the 40-yard dash), quick, fluid, and and extremely athletic. He didn’t intercept a single pass in his college career, which is notable, but not exactly damning.
He does not have flashy pass defense and interception stats like some other cornerbacks in this draft, but that’s not through much fault of his own. Quarterbacks simply didn’t challenge him very …
