Warren G turns in terrible version of ‘Take Me Out To The Ballgame’

Since 1998, when the Chicago Cubs instituted guest conductors to lead the Wrigley Field crowd in singing “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” during the seventh-inning stretch, there have been a fair share of memorably awful performances of the ballpark staple. While the team has scaled back on celebrity singers, a new contender for worst rendition has emerged.
Enter Friday’s game, with rapper Warren G, best known for the 1994 hit “Regulate,” taking the mic. He botched the first line of the song (“take me to the ballgame”), and it went downhill from there. …
