ATP MUNICH – Zverev upsets Goffin, Kohlschreiber beats Del Potro. Fognini and Thiem advance too

Very good performance by Philipp Kohlschreiber, who today beat for the first time on seven meetings the Argentinean Juan Martin Del Potro 6-4 6-1. It was a dominated match by the German, who plays always at a high level in this tournament. It’s his third semifinal in 2016 and now can really aim to win his third title in Munich after the triumphs in 2007 and 2012. For Del Potro the comeback is tough as expected, but in some ways this is a positive tournament for him since he won two matches in an unease surface for him.
