Pirates extend coaching staff through 2017

The Pirates announced Friday that they have extended the contracts of the team’s entire coaching staff through the 2017 season.
The contracts extended include those of Ray Searage — Pittsburgh’s pitching coach since 2011 and the interim pitching coach in ’10 — hitting coach Jeff Branson and bench coach Dave Jauss.
