Martinez puts faith in youth

Everton manager Roberto Martinez plans to put his faith in youth for the visit of Bournemouth on Saturday.
Martinez has come in for criticism among fans at Goodison Park, with protests planned for Saturday’s game and board discussions taking place on the Spaniard’s future.
The Toffees’ are currently 11th in the Premier League table and exited the FA Cup at the semi-final stage at the hands of Manchester United, but Martinez has revealed he will not shy away from blooding home-grown talent in the coming weeks.
Tom Davies and Callum Connolly made debuts from the bench against Southampton last month and with injured trio Phil Jagielka, Seamus Coleman and Gareth Barry joining the suspended Ramiro Funes Mori in the stands, there could be further chances.
