Tom Lawlor’s alarming recurring symptom that could be linked to head trauma

A couple months back, the Three Amigos Podcast interviewed UFC light heavyweight fan favorite, “Filthy” Tom Lawlor, where he cited concerns about concussions and head trauma as reasoning for wanting to be out of the fight game in the next 3-4 years. With more attention being paid to the long term effects of “getting hit in the head for a living,” it’s surprising that more fighters aren’t taking this into serious consideration.

Earlier this week, Tom gave us another interview and discussed an alarming symptom he’s been experiencing that could possibly be linked to repeated head trauma. Here’s what he had to say:

“You know, six months ago, I had a concussion, and I’m not sure how much I ever really recovered from it. Leading up to my fight, during fight week, there were a few instances-and this has been happening on and off for a while, six months or so, over that, for about a year-I’ll vomit randomly.
