Laremy Tunsil had one of the most bizarre draft-day experiences of in the history of professional football. Ten minutes before the the Rams selected Jared Goff first overall, a video of Tunsil smoking marijuana into a gas mask was posted to his Twitter account. He later said his account was hacked (this is the first time anyone has ever believed this excuse, by the way) and found out about the video while sitting in the green room right in the middle of the biggest job interview of his life.
A few weeks ago, Tunsil, a dominating left tackle at Ole Miss, was considered a top overall pick, but a confluence of events — the Rams trading up to No. 1, the Eagles trading up to No. 2, an ill-timed video of Tunsil getting high — saw him slide all the way to No. 13, where the Dolphins eventually selected him.
The Ravens, desperate to upgrade their offensive line and picking No. 6, reportedly took Tunsil off their draft board after the video emerged and instead selected Notre Tame tackle …
