Alan McManus won four frames in row to trail fellow qualifier Ding Junhui 9-7 in a riveting and high-quality World Championship semi-final.
China’s Ding led 6-2 overnight and continued his magnificent form to equal the most centuries by one man in a last-four Crucible match with a brilliant break of 138.
After the Scot responded with a ton, Ding hit 90 and 97 to lead 9-3.
But McManus, 45, hit two more tons in winning the session’s last four frames.
