Volvo China Open 2016: Friday Leaderboard Scores and Highlights

Felipe Aguilar tops the leaderboard heading into the weekend at the Volvo China Open after going round in a seven-under 65 on Friday, but many will have to finish Round 2 on Saturday after play was suspended due to a storm.
The Chilean holds a one-shot lead over Alex Noren, who once again went round in 67 to move to 10 under, and Bernd Wiesberger, who shot 69. There are a multitude of players sitting close behind on nine, eight and seven under.
Here is how the leaderboard is shaping up after Friday’s action:

Aguilar enjoyed an excellent round on Friday to follow up his fairly strong first showing. Indeed, he made the same number of birdies, but this time did not drop a single shot.
He picked up shots on the two par fives of the front nine—the fourth and the eighth—in an otherwise quiet opening to the round, but five on the back nine at the 10th, 11th, 14th, 16th and 18th saw him race to the top of the standings.
According to the European Tour, he was pleased with his round, which has seen him make the cut two weeks running after six successive failures:
