In an unexpected twist, the story of the first round became Ole Miss offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil falling to the Dolphins at No. 13.
A video posted to Tunsil’s Twitter account showed him wearing a gas mask and smoking something. Tunsil said the clip was from years ago and that his account was hacked.
Later, his Instagram showed a text message conversation that suggested Ole Miss was helping Tunsil’s mother with bills.
When asked about the post, Tunsil admitted to reporters he had taken money while in college.
As for the Dolphins, they get a player who was considered one of the top prospects in this class at No. 13. Years from now, this pick could be looked at as an absolute steal.
