Five of his teammates came off the board in the first round, but Ohio State Buckeyes wide receiver Braxton Miller will have to wait to hear his name called at the 2016 NFL draft.

Miller going within the first 31 picks would’ve been a bigger shock Thursday night, though. Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller listed the former quarterback as the eighth-best wide receiver and 54th-best player overall on his most recent big board.

During his first three years with Ohio State, Miller established himself as one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in college football. He threw for 5,292 yards, 52 touchdowns and 17 interceptions between 2011 and 2013, rushing for another 3,054 yards and 32 touchdowns.

A shoulder injury wiped out his 2014 season, though, and once he returned, Cardale Jones and J.T. Barrett had crowded him out at quarterback. As a result, Miller moved to wideout, catching 25 passes for 340 yards and three touchdowns in 2015.
