Georgia Techandacutes Christopher Eubanks named ACC Tennis Player of the Year

Georgia Tech’s Christopher Eubanks has been named the 2016 Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Year and headlines the 2016 All-ACC Team announced on Thursday. Tech junior Carlos Benito was chosen third-team All-ACC.
Eubanks is the first Yellow Jacket to be voted Player of the Year since Guillermo Gomez in 2011, and the fifth overall. He joins a list that also includes Bryan Shelton in 1985, Jens Skjoedt in 1990 and Benjamin Cassaigne in 1999.“Chris set a goal to be much more consistent this season than last season.
