Laremy Tunsil, the controversial offensive tackle taken by the Miami Dolphins with the No. 13 draft pick Thursday night, says he took money from a coach while he was a player at Ole Miss Rebels.
Tunsil was speaking in a news conference after his draft selection in Chicago after an apparent hack of his Instagram account and of his Twitter account.
“I’d have to say yeah,” Tunsil said when asked by a reporter if he took money from a coach.
A screen grab of a text that was published to @kingtunsil appeared to show a request for rent money from Ole Miss assistant athletic director John Miller and so Tunsil’s mother could pay her light bill.
