O’s power up back home to rout White Sox

BALTIMORE — The Orioles found familiar Camden Yards the remedy for their offensive woes Thursday night, as Manny Machado hit a grand slam and Baltimore snapped the White Sox six-game winning streak with a 10-2 victory.
After scoring five runs in their previous four games — all on the road — the Orioles collected 15 hits. Chris Davis and Mark Trumbo blasted back-to-back home runs in the third inning, when Baltimore took the lead for good against losing pitcher John Danks (0-4).
Each of the first eight hitters in the O’s lineup had at least one hit, with Joey Rickard, Adam Jones, J.J. Hardy, Nolan Reimold, Machado and Davis picking up two apiece.
