Darron Lee to Jets: Twitter Reacts as OLB Is Selected in 2016 NFL Draft

After falling one game short of making the playoffs last year, the New York Jets got a head start in 2016 with their selection Thursday of Ohio State outside linebacker Darron Lee with the 20th pick in the first round of the NFL draft.  

The Jets went 10-6 last year and face an uncertain future with last year’s starting quarterback, Ryan Fitzpatrick. Instead of going in that direction, the Jets decided to make Lee the fifth Ohio State player taken in the first round while adding to New York’s already-stout front seven.

One year after grabbing the steal of the draft with defensive end Leonard Williams, Gang Green welcomed Lee into the fold:
