With the No. 3 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the San Diego Chargers select Ohio State defensive end Joey Bosa .
Pete Prisco gave the Chargers an A grade for the pick: “This kid is a better player than people think. Love this pick for the Chargers.”

Bosa is widely considered the best edge player in this draft. He has prototypical size and strength for a 4-3 defensive end, though he is more of a well-balanced left end type than a truly dominant pass-rusher that can work one-on-one against elite left tackles from the right side of the line. Bosa is 6-foot-5, 269 pounds and he moves quickly and smoothly both in his pass rush moves and his work against the run.
Bosa was a second-team AP All-American as a junior at Ohio State (after unanimously making first team as a sophomore), and he was twice named the Big Ten’s defensive lineman of the year. In 2015, he finished with 51 tackles, 16 for loss. Per Pro Football Focus, he also recorded 70 …
