Simon Yates tests positive for Terbutaline

The Daily Mail reports that Simon Yates of Orica – GreenEdge failed an anti-doping test submitted in March at Paris-Nice. He finished seventh at the 2016 edition of the week-long race and was fifth in the final stage around Nice, France.
The 23-year-old, who races with his twin brother Adam on Orica, was aiming for a spot on Great Britain’s Olympics team.
Like many top British riders, Simon Yates began his cycling career as a track cyclist. He won a world championship in the points race in 2013. His only win as a pro road cyclist was stage 6 of the Tour of Britain that year.
