In 2012 an injury forced Blake Griffin out of the Team USA roster for the Beijing Olympics. And now four years later, the same thing is happening again.
Griffin is part of the 31-player pool that is eligible to be selected for the 2016 USA basketball team but after re-injuring his quad and undergoing a procedure to correct the issue, the Clippers forward will be reportedly unavailable to play in this summer’s Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
